Llyn Maes y Clawdd.

 

 

  • Llyn Maes y Clawdd is a small lake stocked with rainbow and blue trout. Some brown trout are also present

 

  • This lake is available to season ticket holders only (including block tickets). Blue badge holders are able to fish it on a day ticket.

 

  • Season ticket holders may use a ‘Guest Ticket’ option which allows a full member to purchase a day ticket for a friend on a limited number of times in a year.

 

  • Fishing is fly only.

 

  • There is a two fish limit per angler per day. Fishing may be catch and release thereafter up to a maximum of 10 fish.

 

  • Landing nets MUST be used to protect fish.

 

  • The lake is suitable for disabled access.

 

  • The lake is open from March to December inclusive. It is closed in January and February.

 

  • The lake is stocked monthly from April to September around the 20th of the month, depending on weather conditions.

 

  • Due to cattle being present, vehicles are parked entirely at their owners’ risk.

 

  • Anglers MUST fill in catch returns.

 

  • Fish must not be cleaned / gutted on site.
