Rules and Conditions
1. The subscriptions to be paid are as found on the permits page [ here .]
2.Environment
Agency weir rules to be observed at all times. No fishing between
a point 27.4M above Tryweryn weir and the confluence with the Dee.
3.Permits are not transferable.
4. All permits are issued subject to compliance with the byelaws of the Environment Agency.
5.
No liability will be accepted by the Association for any damage caused
on farm property, crops, etc., and members enter upon the lands of all
estates at their own risk. Sympathetic consideration will be accorded
to the well being of tenants at all times.
6. No dogs will be allowed to accompany Members of the association.
7.
All Members must be in posession of a current permit when fishing and
must produce it when asked for by any member on producing his/her
permit or by any club bailiff on production of his/her identity card.
The names of all persons who are unable or refuse to do so must
be reported to the Committee.
8. All complaints must be submitted in writing (including email) to the Hon. secretary.
9. Members shall be responsible for the due observance of these rules and conditions and any breach of these forgoing rules and conditions of membership will be dealt with by the committee.
10. Terminal tackle not to be used in fly only water.
11.
Proposals for the A.G.M and election of officers must be given in
writing (including email) to the secretary five days prior to the A.G.M.
12.Executive meetings held last Tuesday in each month at Ye old Bull's Head, Bala at 7.30 pm.
13. Limit bag of four fish on all club waters. Size limit of 23 cms for trout and grayling.
14.The Annual General Meeting to be held on the SECOND FRIDAY in November at 7.30 pm at Ye Old Bull's Head, Bala.

SEASON FOR SALMON, TROUT AND COARSE FISH ON ASSOCIATION WATERS .
Brown trout.
These are in season from the 3rd
of March until the 30th of
September inclusive.
They are out of season, and therefore
you are not allowed to fish for them, from the 1st of October until
the 2nd of March inclusive.
These dates apply to all Bala Angling rivers and lakes including Llyn Tegid.
The minimum size of brown trout that can be kept is 23 cms measured from the
tip of the snout to the tip of the tail. ( Environment Agency byelaw)
Salmon.
These are in season from the 3rd
of March until the 17th of
October inclusive.
They are out of season, and therefore
you are not allowed to fish for them, from the 18th of October until the 2nd of March inclusive. These dates apply to all
Bala Angling rivers and lakes including Llyn Tegid. You are not permitted to
keep any salmon caught before 16 th June, this is an Environment Agency byelaw which
must be observed.
Coarse fish, including
grayling, perch, roach, pike.
There is no close season for coarse
fish in Llyn Tegid. In the lake you can
therefore fish for them all year round.
On the rivers all coarse fish are in
season from the 16th of June until the 14th of March
inclusive. They are out of season, and therefore you are not allowed to fish
for them, from the 15th of March until the 15th of June
inclusive.
