Exchange Ticket Arrangements

Season ticket holders have access  to exchange tickets with three other clubs in the area. Under this scheme a BDAA member may take an exchange ticket for one of the clubs below and fish their waters observing their rules. There is a nominal £1 admin fee which is not refundable for each exchange ticket plus  £5 per ticket deposit which is refundable. The £5 deposit is refunded on return of the ticket provided that it is returned within the 36 hour loan period.  You MUST show your current BDAA membership card to the shop assistant  AS NO EXCHANGE TICKET WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT DOING SO.  This is a condition set out by the committee.

EXCHANGE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FROM SIOP DE ON THE HIGH STREET.

Exchange tickets are available for the following clubs;

1. Cambrian Angling Association at Ffestiniog who have fishing on thirteen mountain lakes for trout and some river fishing. See their website[ here] for more details. Four tickets available

2. Llangollen Angling Association which has miles of trout and grayling fishing on the Dee at Llangollen. Should you wish to fish Llangollen waters for Salmon then this is not allowed on the Exchange ticket but you may buy a Llangollen Angling  day ticket at the full cost to do this. For more information see their website [here.] Four tickets available.

3. Glaslyn Angling Association at  Penrhyndeudraeth who hold superb sea trout, salmon and trout fishing on the Glaslyn river that stretches from Beddgelert to Porthmadog. They also have rights on Llyn Dinas. See their website[ here ] (and follow the link to 'your website' and then 'Glaslyn Angling Association') for further information. Two tickets available.

Given all the waters that Bala Angling itself has and coupled to the waters available under our exchange agreements then it will be obvious that membership of Bala Angling represents excellent value and opens up literally miles of fishing. You could go fishing somewhere different every day of the season with a Bala Angling Ticket if you desired!
